Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Wen Dinner, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Description of Service

Wen Dinner is a web application for recipe import, coordinated cooking schedules, meal planning calendars, recipe lists, inventory, shopping lists, and AI-assisted cooking and app help.

The service may allow you to:

  • Submit recipe URLs, text, photos, and documents
  • Create public or private recipes where supported
  • Plan meals and cooking schedules
  • Create and share calendars, recipe lists, inventories, and shopping lists
  • Track cooking step completion and inventory changes
  • Sign in with passkeys
  • Use AI-assisted parsing, extraction, chat, and app actions

User Conduct

You agree to use Wen Dinner responsibly and comply with applicable laws. You agree not to:

  • Submit content you do not have the right to use or share
  • Use the service for unlawful, abusive, or harmful activity
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data
  • Interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the service
  • Submit malicious code, deceptive content, or harmful files

Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of recipes, notes, meal plans, inventory entries, shopping lists, feedback, and other content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us permission to store, process, display, and use it as needed to provide Wen Dinner and its related features.

Public, Private, and Shared Content

Some content may be public, private, or shared with invited users. You are responsible for choosing appropriate visibility and sharing settings.

If you make content public or share an invite link, other people may be able to view information included in that recipe, list, calendar, inventory, shopping list, or related resource. Do not share private or sensitive information unless you intend recipients to see it.

Recipe Sources

When you submit recipe URLs or recipe content, you represent that you have the right to use that content in Wen Dinner. You are responsible for complying with copyright law and the terms of source websites.

Our Content

Wen Dinner's software, design, text, graphics, and other service content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

AI-Assisted Features

Wen Dinner uses AI to help parse recipes, extract content, answer cooking and app questions, and assist with supported workflows. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your situation. Review AI-assisted results before relying on them, especially for cooking times, ingredients, allergens, dietary needs, and food safety.

Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use Wen Dinner.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Wen Dinner is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of recipes, schedules, AI outputs, inventory, or shopping list information
  • That cooking times or schedules will fit your kitchen, equipment, ingredients, or skill level
  • That the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • That imported or user-submitted recipe content is legally available for your intended use

Food Safety Disclaimer

Cooking times and instructions are estimates and suggestions. You are responsible for:

  • Safe food handling and storage
  • Avoiding allergens and unsafe ingredients
  • Verifying safe internal temperatures
  • Using your judgment with cooking methods and equipment
  • Consulting authoritative food safety resources when needed

We strongly recommend using a food thermometer for foods that require a safe internal temperature.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including damages related to cooking outcomes, food safety, lost data, interrupted service, or use of AI-assisted outputs.

Service Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Wen Dinner at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Wen Dinner for violations of these Terms or for other reasons necessary to protect the service, users, or legal rights. You may stop using Wen Dinner at any time.
